Poor Rewards Program

I purchased an item online and used a coupon code together with a $10 rewards certificate. Unfortunately, I ordered the wrong size and placed another order for the exact same item and price for an even exchange. I returned the wrong item in store but upon calling customer service, they said that they cannot do a price adjustment or reissue the rewards certificate or issue another one because it was already used. This is the worst rewards program that Ive used and is certainly not worth it.

Package misdelivered to incorrect address

The Childrens Place - Package misdelivered to incorrect address

Childrens Place customer service and a supervisor claim that

they are not allowed to call OnTRAC to verify the package was delivered to wrong address. I called OnTRAC and they say Childrens Place does have an internal process that they are

allowed to call the special account group to verify deliveries.

Since the tracking on Childrens Place web site states delivered

even though its wrong address they will only give me $50 dollar

cash rewards as a courtesy for my 4 phone calls to them and 3 to OnTRAC. My order was $71.49.

This is their company policy!

This is the most unethical company policy I have ever heard. How much money are they making off customers mis delivered packages when there not allowed to verify or refusing to follow up with OnTRAC who is more than happy to check it out when I called.

Return policy sucks…especially around Christmas

Tried to return items today that I bought online on 11/18. Gave them to my grandson on Christmas Day and they dont fit.

I just got back into town yesterday and tried to return them today. Clerk very happily told me they have a 45 day return policy! Are you kidding me? At Christmas time?

I tried to be polite but when she mouthed off disrespectfully to me I responded.

Most companies have an end of January return policy at Christmas time. Had absolutely no resolution for me nor did she offer me a store credit. Just put my stuff back in the bag, and told me its January. I should have had plenty of time to return it.

I didnt and she has. I idea what my life is. Then laugh and walk away?

Manager had no backbone to try and help either. NOT HAPPY !!!

What kind of "grandparent" are you that you do not know what size clothing your grandson wears. You had almost a month to return it.

I am sure you are mistaking not getting your way as her being mouthy. It is not about having a backbone.

Their shipping company delivered it to the wrong address and they won't correct the problem.

We placed an online order with THE Children's Place and their delivery company shipped it to the wrong address. When we called The Children's Place customer service department, a supervisor told us there is nothing they can or will do other than to give us the delivery company information and we would need to try and retrieve our purchase.

They would not reship the order or give us a credit. Their official policy is that the customer has to contact the delivery company and try to get their merchandise back. So someone else received our products and The Children's Place won't do anything to correct the problem. This is the worst business policy we have ever heard.

They screw their customers and then tell the customer it is their responsibility to solve the problem.

They should change the name of their department to Customer Dis-service because that's what they deliver. If you need to buy any type of children's clothing, don't shop at The Children's Place because if they deliver your products to the wrong address, it is your tough luck.

I am never shopping with The Childrens Place ever again in my life. Worst customer service ever, ordered a package that was supposed to be delivered by UPS was not delivered. Call UPS customer service, they tell me to contact The Childrens place, when I call the childrens place they dont even help me. All they say is to contact UPS and if they cant help to contact my financial institution. Unbelievable how theyre such a big company and cannot solve a problem. Called plethora of times and still cant solve my problem. This is not something my bank institution has to fix.

I have ordered large amounts of clothes many times through children's place. I received 2 out 3 packages on my last order. They said they can't refund my $115, and I can call UPS then call my bank? I asked what are they going to do? I never once had a issue with all my orders but now I have been charged for items I did not receive, and they do not give money back they said. So if you order through them and its lost your moneys just gone?

Ordered items online and it has taken a month and still have not received the items or any reason why I havent received them. Customer service number is a joke they never answer you have to call back several times to get through to them. Then when you get through to them they are no help to you and your situation all they do is take notes that Im sure gets to no one. In short if you are goin go patronizing this business do so in store only

Defective items

I was on the phone for over 30 minutes trying to figure out how to return these defective items. It did get resolved, but was very complicated and I am disappointed with the customer service provided. The representatives were very nice, but there was not an easy solution for someone who lives in the country, like us, an hour away from a store to make a return.

Worst experience ever ordering online not only did they say they cant locate my order but also they cant refund me until my order is shipped back to them and theres a possibility it can take longer than 30days and I need to have patients!?! Even tho I spoke to my local post office and they never received the package! Thanks for ruining one of the most important day of my daughters life! Oh and also for being extremely RUDE & Unprofessional!
