Verified ReviewerPackage misdelivered to incorrect address
Childrens Place customer service and a supervisor claim that
they are not allowed to call OnTRAC to verify the package was delivered to wrong address. I called OnTRAC and they say Childrens Place does have an internal process that they are
allowed to call the special account group to verify deliveries.
Since the tracking on Childrens Place web site states delivered
even though its wrong address they will only give me $50 dollar
cash rewards as a courtesy for my 4 phone calls to them and 3 to OnTRAC. My order was $71.49.
This is their company policy!
This is the most unethical company policy I have ever heard. How much money are they making off customers mis delivered packages when there not allowed to verify or refusing to follow up with OnTRAC who is more than happy to check it out when I called.

Return policy sucks…especially around Christmas
Tried to return items today that I bought online on 11/18. Gave them to my grandson on Christmas Day and they dont fit.
I just got back into town yesterday and tried to return them today. Clerk very happily told me they have a 45 day return policy! Are you kidding me? At Christmas time?
I tried to be polite but when she mouthed off disrespectfully to me I responded.
Most companies have an end of January return policy at Christmas time. Had absolutely no resolution for me nor did she offer me a store credit. Just put my stuff back in the bag, and told me its January. I should have had plenty of time to return it.
I didnt and she has. I idea what my life is. Then laugh and walk away?
Manager had no backbone to try and help either. NOT HAPPY !!!

We placed an online order with THE Children's Place and their delivery company shipped it to the wrong address. When we called The Children's Place customer service department, a supervisor told us there is nothing they can or will do other than to give us the delivery company information and we would need to try and retrieve our purchase.
They would not reship the order or give us a credit. Their official policy is that the customer has to contact the delivery company and try to get their merchandise back. So someone else received our products and The Children's Place won't do anything to correct the problem. This is the worst business policy we have ever heard.
They screw their customers and then tell the customer it is their responsibility to solve the problem.
They should change the name of their department to Customer Dis-service because that's what they deliver. If you need to buy any type of children's clothing, don't shop at The Children's Place because if they deliver your products to the wrong address, it is your tough luck.

What kind of "grandparent" are you that you do not know what size clothing your grandson wears. You had almost a month to return it.
I am sure you are mistaking not getting your way as her being mouthy. It is not about having a backbone.
It is about you not following the rules. This review was dated January 22, almost a month after Christmas.
